In terms of clinical data from the Betaseron® trial, there was statistically significant evidence that:
- Patients who were antibody positive after 18 months had higher relapse rates than patients who were antibody negative.
- Patients who were antibody positive after 24 months had more enlarging lesions on their MRIs than patients who were antibody negative.
